Glen Hanket has presented a variety of talks and
slide shows at corporations, colleges, schools, libraries, and community groups. Here are
testimonials from schools at which he has spoken:
Glen,
We absolutely loved our visit with you and I thought you were fantastic. I did have a chance to finish most of your book
before your visit and I think that really helped in preparing my students for your visit. I think it's a great web site
because it really summarizes your book. If teachers were really aware ahead of time that the site gives a great brief
history of your trip and mission they would be able to have their students prepared.
Earlier in the year we had a local newsperson visit and I thought you were far better then he was!! You were well prepared,
informative, and very professional. I wish I could have you come every year.
Thank you,
Anita Nicoson, Mukwonago, WI
Dear Glen:
Good luck as you set off on yet another trip to corral litter and bring this facet of responsibility to light in the communities you visit.
Our Middle School Gifted/Talented students were fortunate to meet you several years ago and listen to your "stories of the road". I will always
remember them scrambling to pick up trash on the school campus as you encouraged their efforts. The final salute was seeing them run on the
sidewalk alongside your bike as you made your way out of town. The kids were enthusiastic about meeting you, and hopefully, they will carry
the message with them into their adult lives.
Please keep me informed when you plan to visit our corner of Western NY again. A new crop of G/T students will welcome you with open arms.

Glen,
I thought that your presentation was excellent! Our 5th graders have never sat so still, or been so interested in a speaker! The slide show
was a great way to get the kid's attention. I liked the way you repeated the questions so if other students didn't hear it, they still
understood what you were answering. I just wish we could have had more time with you. I think the kids would have asked you questions
all afternoon, had we let them. It would have been great if we could have gone on a "litterwalk" with you through Mukwonago.
