This page is a joint effort with the Bicycle Planning Committees from the
various cities in the Denver metro area (informally grouped as the Denver
Regional Council Of Governments, or DRCOG) to announce trail closures and
detours. If you know of a closed or detoured trail that is not mentioned
here, Please tell us about it.
For a trail problem that requires maintenance, please contact the
Maintenance person for that city.
UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2000:
In WESTMINSTER, tunnels provide access for Big Dry Creek trail users under
Wadsworth and under US36. This now allows people to ride from Standley Lake
neighborhoods to Pecos and 136th, with only a short stretch (between Wadsw.
Pkwy and Blvd) on residential, semi-rural streets.
In ARVADA, a new tunnel allows users to follow Little Dry Creek under Sheridan,
instead of a traffic light crossing at 76th St.
Near ARVADA RESERVOIR, the Fairmount (Ralston-Clear Creek Canal) Trail is
closed due to the construction going on in the area.
